Call (814) 833-5787 or email lakewooderiepreschool@gmail.com. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. Enrollment is currently waitlist only, and registration is on a first come, first serve basis. A person will follow up with you about next steps.

Tour the room
See the classroom your child would join, and meet the teachers who run it. Ask about the daily routine while you are there. This is the best way to picture your child's day.

Enroll and settle in
Complete enrollment and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. All classes are full right now, so enrollment is waitlist only. Registration is first come, first serve, and checks must be received within three to five days to confirm. Make checks payable to Lakewood Preschool.
What to have ready
Most families bring enrollment forms, a health form, an immunization record, emergency contacts, and the names of adults allowed to pick up. Copies are fine. If you are unsure what your child's file still needs, call (814) 833-5787.
Pack a full change of clothes, outdoor gear for the season, and a comfort object if your child uses one. Label everything with your child's name. A spare set stays in the cubby so wet or messy clothes go home in a bag.
Before the first day, decide who drops off and who picks up, and tell the teachers those names. Let them know how you prefer to hear about the day. Staff can talk through the drop-off routine with you so the morning is calm.

The first days often start shorter, with a parent nearby at first. A familiar object from home helps. A teacher greets your child by name at the door and shows them where their things go.
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did, ate, and rested. Ask about anything you want to know. Most children settle once the routine is familiar and they know what comes next.

What should my child bring on the first day?
